The Pentax
K-series K1000, KM, KX
If you are lucky enough to own one of these models I don’t need to tell you how well made they are.
All metal construction, manual K-mount camera, not dependent on electronics to work.
A perfect student camera or professional back-up.
There are 2 types of service - basic maintenance or complete overhaul. If the camera has not been serviced before, then complete overhaul is recommended to restore it to full glory. Every part hand cleaned, re-lubricated and adjusted. All seals and cushion material is replaced. Finder removed and cleaned. Body interior and exterior cleaned and checked.

The Pentax Spotmatic series
The longest living series of Screw Mount cameras produced. The K1000 above is based on these models, the main difference being the lens mount.
Having your Spotmatic restored means being able to continue using all you existing screw mount lenses and accessories - and you already know the quality of these lenses.
Our service restores the camera to as close to new as possible. It includes updating the meter system to use a Silver Oxide battery (the mercury type is no longer available) and a photo cell update if necessary. Of course every part is hand cleaned and re-lubricated. All seal and cushion material replaced, finder and body cleaned and everything readjusted.

Pentax
H and S series

The original and oldest Pentax models with screw mount lenses.
If you have one that has not been physically damaged or cosmetically corroded then it can almost certainly be restored to reliable operation.
Because the curtain material used is different to the later SP series new curtains must sometimes be fitted. This involves hand making a set of curtains, increasing the service cost.

Our service restores the camera to as close to new as possible. We can even replace the leatherette with Green, Burgundy, or Blue finish. Every part is hand cleaned and re-lubricated. All seal and cushion material replaced, finder and body cleaned and everything readjusted.
